New Delhi. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, who is known for his passion for cricket, has often shared his opinions about the Indian cricket team. However, Tharoor is unhappy with the team selected for India’s tour of Sri Lanka. Taking a dig at the BCCI selectors, Tharoor expressed his displeasure and accused them of not giving importance to success.

Disappointment over players being left out
Tharoor expressed his disappointment on Twitter, especially over the exclusion of some players. He pointed out that Sanju Samson, who scored a century in his last ODI, was not included in the team. Apart from this, Abhishek Sharma, who scored a century in the T20 series against Zimbabwe, was also not included in the team.

Commenting on the upcoming tour, Tharoor said that the selection was interesting. He expressed his anger towards the BCCI selectors, saying that success in India holds little importance for them.
