New Delhi. India and Pakistan will face each other in the T20 World Cup on June 9, but the excitement has already started. While Indian and Pakistani cricketers are calling their teams the contenders for victory, they are also highlighting the shortcomings of the opposing teams. A Pakistani journalist made one such attempt when he trolled Suresh Raina. But Imran Siddiqui had to pay a heavy price for doing so. Suresh Raina gave such a reply to this journalist on the lines of ‘Nani Yaad Dila Di’ that the old wounds of the neighbours became fresh.
This war between Suresh Raina and Pakistani journalist on social media happened regarding T20 World Cup 2024. ICC has made Pakistan’s Shahid Afridi the brand ambassador for this World Cup. Pakistani journalist Imran Siddiqui shared this information on social media and wrote, ‘Hello Suresh Raina?’
Suresh Raina, who won the World Cup for India, also gave a befitting reply to the Pakistani journalist. He wrote, ‘I am not an ambassador of ICC but I have a sign of winning the World Cup 2011 at my home. Remember that Mohali match. Hopefully this will refresh the unforgettable memories in the mind.’
