The session of both the houses of Parliament, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, ended on Friday. Both the houses have been adjourned indefinitely. After the end of the session, a picture of a meeting of many prominent MPs of the country including PM Modi has emerged. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi was also present in this meeting along with PM Modi and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.

Looking at the pictures that have emerged after the end of the current session of Parliament, it can be said that the leaders of the ruling party and the opposition were seen in a light mood. Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, sitting next to PM Modi and Speaker Om Birla, was also seen smiling in the meeting. Apart from these, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Union Minister Chirag Paswan, Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, MP Supriya Sule and many other MPs were present in the meeting.

The work productivity of Lok Sabha was 136 percent
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, before announcing the adjournment of the Lok Sabha indefinitely, said that 15 meetings were held in this session which lasted for 115 hours and the work productivity of the House was 136 percent. The second session of the eighteenth Lok Sabha began on 22 July in which on 23 July Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2024-25 in the House.
Rajya Sabha also adjourned
The 265th session of the Rajya Sabha was also adjourned indefinitely on Friday. After three adjournments, when the proceedings of the House resumed at 3:30 pm, Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar adjourned the proceedings of the Upper House indefinitely after completing some urgent work. Earlier, the proceedings of the Upper House were adjourned three times.
