The incident took place on Wednesday at Semalkhedi-2 Primary School in Rawati. The teacher’s name is Veer Singh Mayda. He teaches fifth grade. In the morning he reached school, but was drunk. The children say that he was so intoxicated that he could not stand upright. In such a situation, he called the scared girl and tried to cut her hair.

Drunk teacher asked the student why you don’t study? You will get punishment for this. After this, teacher Veer Singh started cutting the hair of the girl with scissors. The girl was crying but despite this, Veer Singh’s heart did not melt. There was an uproar in the school after this incident. Hearing the noise, a nearby person reached there and tried to convince the teacher. This man making video also asked the teacher why you have come to school after drinking alcohol? Then the teacher became angry at him and said – “Do what you have to do. If you talk more then I will cut your hair too. You are someone who orders me.”
The matter reached the collector, ordered for investigation
The incident was reported to the school principal. The principal informed the higher officials of the Education Department. When the matter came to the notice of Collector Rajesh Batham, he ordered Assistant Commissioner Ranjana Singh to investigate. On Thursday, officials of the Tribal Welfare Department reached the school to investigate and they also recorded the statement of the girl. During this time, the victim girl showed her cut peak to the officers and told the whole story. Sources say that apart from departmental action against the teacher, criminal action will also be taken.
