Pune Police has arrested a man who threw the body of his girlfriend in the Indrayani river of Pune. Not only this, when the woman’s two children started crying, he also threw them in a pond. Police has also arrested the friend of the accused involved in this incident.
An officer of Pimpri Chinchwad police station said that a 25-year-old woman left her husband and started living with her lover. The woman also had two children. While living in a live-in relationship, the woman became pregnant. But the woman’s lover did not want this child. The lover took the woman to a hospital in Thane near Mumbai for abortion. But the woman died during the abortion.
Police said that on July 9, while returning from Thane with the woman’s body, the accused and his friend threw the body in the Indrayani river near Talegaon. Seeing this scene, the woman’s two and five year old children started crying. Seeing the children crying, the angry lover pushed them into the river as well.
This incident was revealed when the mother of the deceased woman filed a missing report of her daughter with the police. During the investigation, the police reached the woman’s lover. When the lover was taken into custody and strictly interrogated, the whole matter was revealed. Police said that the bodies of the woman and the two children have not been found yet. Police have arrested both the accused and sent them to jail. The investigation of the case is ongoing.
