New Delhi. The weather became quite pleasant in the national capital Delhi and surrounding areas due to intermittent drizzle on Sunday afternoon. There were dark clouds throughout the day, due to which the temperature once again dropped below 30 degrees. However, now the intensity of the sun is likely to increase here and it is believed that the temperature may reach 40 degrees. At the same time, due to western disturbance becoming active at the end of March, it is expected to rain once again in many areas of North India. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has predicted heat wave in isolated areas of Saurashtra and Kutch in Gujarat.
There will be clouds on the day of Holi too
According to the Meteorological Department, the national capital and surrounding areas will remain partly cloudy on Monday. The maximum temperature here can be around 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature can be around 16 degrees Celsius. After this, on 26th March i.e. tomorrow, once again a camp of clouds can be seen in the sky, where the maximum temperature will be around 33 and the minimum temperature will be around 17 degrees. There may be partly cloudy sky on March 27 and dense clouds on March 28, in which the maximum temperature may be 35 to 36 and the minimum temperature may be 18 to 19 degrees.
The weather will be a little warmer after Holi
Meanwhile, Western Disturbance is expected to become active in the hilly areas of North India from the night of 26th March. Due to this, there may be sporadic rain and snowfall with thunder and lightning in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh.
Along with this, the Meteorological Department has predicted scattered to moderate rain with thunderstorms in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura till March 29. The Meteorological Department also said that after this the heat may increase, where the temperature can reach 40 degrees in the month of April.
