How much work of bullet train has been completed?

The Government of India is vigorously pursuing the work on the bullet train project. On Friday, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav shared many information about the bullet train project in the Rajya Sabha. Ashwini Vaishnav has said that work on the bullet train project is progressing rapidly. Vaishnav has said that the work of making 320 fillers has been completed. The work of making a tunnel about 50 meters deep under the sea and building a station is also going on at a fast pace.

Which class bogies will there be?

Ashwini Vaishnav said that E Sreedharan, who was the director of Delhi Metro, made a very good arrangement in the metro that there should be no classification of categories. Keeping the same idea in mind, there will be two classes in the bullet train, the first is general and the second is special class. Only two classes were kept in Vande Bharat as well. Vaishnav said that our priority is to have only one class because when we envision a prosperous society, there are no categories in it.

Work being done in collaboration with Japan

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the work on the first bullet train project in India has started with the cooperation of Japan. During this work, good information has also been received about the working methods and technology. India’s first bullet train will run between Mumbai and Ahmedabad and this will be done with the cooperation of Japan. Japan started working on the bullet train in 1969 and today it has mastered it.

100 km journey in 15-20 minutes

Ashwini Vaishnav said in the Rajya Sabha that almost all the major economies of the world have connected their big cities with bullet trains. Bullet trains connect the economies of 4-5 big cities and create a big economy. Vaishnav said that the project is complex but its design is being prepared with caution and work is going on rapidly. This reduces the journey of 100 km to 15-20 minutes or half an hour which is useful. (input language)
