New Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is out on bail, has filed a petition in the Supreme Court to extend his bail for 7 days. The vacation bench of Justice JK Maheshwari and Justice KV Vishwanathan refused to hear his petition immediately. He said on Tuesday that the decision to extend the interim bail will be taken by CJI Chandrachud.
In the Supreme Court, Arvind Kejriwal’s lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi argued that we are demanding extension of bail for only 7 days and this demand is being made due to health reasons. On this, the Supreme Court said that the main bench was present last week, then why did you not file this petition. Abhishek Manu Singhvi told that he got the consultation of a doctor only on Sunday.
What happened to Arvind Kejriwal suddenly?
According to the Aam Aadmi Party, Arvind Kejriwal’s ketone level is continuously increasing rapidly, which indicates some serious illness. AAP also said on Monday that Arvind Kejriwal’s weight has decreased by 7 kg since his arrest. When experts from Max Hospital examined Arvind Kejriwal’s health, the initial investigation indicated that his ketone level is very high.
Sudden weight loss and high ketone levels can be a sign of some serious diseases, including kidney damage and cancer. Doctors have advised to get a whole body PET-CT scan done along with many other tests. And to get these tests done, Arvind Kejriwal has filed a petition to extend the interim bail period.
