New Delhi. Prominent leader of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) Sita Soren has resigned from the membership of the party. Recently, his name has cropped up in the “vote for notes” case, in which the Supreme Court ordered him to face trial before the special CBI court, which is already facing trial for his involvement in the 2012 purchase and sale case. Following the untimely demise of his elder brother, Durga Soren, in 2009, his brother-in-law, Hemant Soren, joined the party’s ranks.
