After the results of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 in India, there is now a discussion on the formation of a new government. While the NDA alliance led by the BJP is going to form the government with a majority, the Congress-led INDIA alliance of opposition parties has decided to remain in the opposition. The NDA allies have chosen PM Modi to once again take charge of the country. Now the discussion is on which leaders will get responsibility in PM Modi’s new government or MODI 3.0.
Discussion on JP Nadda’s residence
A meeting is being held at the residence of BJP National President JP Nadda since Thursday morning to plan the Modi cabinet. JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP Organization General Secretary BL Santosh are also present in this big meeting.
Meeting of NDA MPs possible on Friday
Senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party, including Union Ministers Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, also discussed the future strategy in a meeting at JP Nadda’s residence on Thursday. According to party leaders, many other issues including the formation of the future Council of Ministers are to be discussed in the meeting. A meeting of NDA MPs may be held on Friday where Narendra Modi will be formally elected as the leader.
Which are the important parties of NDA?
BJP alone has got 240 seats in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Talking about the NDA alliance, Nitish’s JDU has 12 MPs, Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP has 16, Shiv Sena has 7 and Chirag’s LJP (Ram Vilas) has 5 MPs. Apart from this, Pawan Kalyan’s Jansena has 2, Jayant Chaudhary’s RLD has 2, Apna Dal has one and NCP also has one MP. Apart from all these, many parties are also supporting the NDA.
