Amidst the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the discussion about Pakistan Occupied Kashmir is in full swing. All the senior leaders of BJP including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar are unanimously calling POK an integral part of India. BJP is asking for more than 400 seats from the people in the entire election. At such a time, questions are being raised that why only 400 seats are required to take back Pakistan occupied Kashmir? Why can’t this work be done only with the 272 seats required for majority? Now this question has been answered by BJP leader and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma.
Why are 400 seats needed?
On the question of need of 400 seats to take back PoK, Himanta Vishwa Sharma said that it is not possible with only 272 seats. Then there will be many people who will say that Pakistan has nuclear bomb, she is not wearing bangles etc. Himanta said that Pakistan will have many friends in our Parliament. Therefore, a decisive leader and a strong Parliament are necessary for the merger of PoK with India.
PoK is part of India- Amit Shah
Earlier, Union Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah had said that PoK is a part of India and we have the right on it, no one can deny it. Farooq Abdullah and Congress leaders are saying today that Pakistan has a nuclear bomb. Don’t demand PoK. I want to ask him whether a country with a population of 130 crores will give up its rights out of fear of someone. Rahul Gandhi should tell what the people of his party want to say by talking about the honor of Pakistan?
