Faggan Singh Kulaste
After the results of the recent Lok Sabha elections, the NDA government has been formed in the country. Along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 71 MPs took oath as ministers. Exactly a week after the swearing-in of the ministers, a statement of Lok Sabha MP from Mandla seat Faggan Singh Kulaste is going viral. In the video, Kulaste is saying that he refused to take the post of Minister of State. He has also explained the reason behind it.
Is Faggan Singh Kulaste angry?
Kulaste, who did not get a place in the Council of Ministers of the Narendra Modi government, which came to power at the Centre for the third consecutive time, has said that he had clearly refused to become a junior minister for the fourth time. The seven-time MP from Mandla seat of Madhya Pradesh and tribal leader of the BJP said, “I have been a state minister thrice. It is not good to become a state minister for the fourth time, so I clearly refused. I said that it would be better if I become a cabinet minister…”
After this statement of Kulaste, politics has heated up. It is being said that Kulaste is unhappy about not being included in the cabinet, which he is not expressing openly.
Savitri Thakur was given a chance in place of Kulaste
Let us tell you that BJP had won all the 29 Lok Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh, after which Madhya Pradesh was rewarded for this victory. 5 names from Madhya Pradesh have been included in the cabinet. On the other hand, old names have also been dropped. Kulaste, who comes from the tribal community, had got a place in the Modi cabinet last time but this time he has been dropped. This time Dhar MP Savitri Thakur has been given a chance in place of Kulaste.
Let us tell you that Kulaste was the Minister of State for Rural Development in the previous government. He was the Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare during Modi’s first term as Prime Minister. Kulaste was the Minister of State for Tribal Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government between 1999 and 2004. (With Bhasha inputs)
