Pune Hit & Run Case: Crime branch has made new revelations in Pune hit and run case. According to the information, the minor accused had kept it in celebration of passing 12th. A lot of liquor was spilled at the party with friends. In the same happiness, his parents were also partying at an unknown location. At the same time, the parents have no remorse for their son’s actions, leave aside the seriousness of the matter. His father Vishal Aggarwal had gifted him a Porsche car worth Rs 2 crore on the occasion of passing 12th.
Let us tell you that the minor accused’s intermediate (plus + 2) result came on 18 May. He had secured only 60% marks in the exam. He probably did not expect to get so many marks, he was so happy that he went to the bar to celebrate with his friends. Let us tell you that not only the accused was happy with the exam result, but his parents were also happy, that’s why they gifted their minor son a car worth 2 crores.

He left home with his friends for the party at around 9 pm on Saturday, 18 May and went straight to COSIE Pub. The party went on till 12.15 am. He drank a lot of alcohol with his friends. He paid the party bill of about Rs 48000. The party continued and in this sequence he reached Black Pub (Back Pub) at 12.15 am and spent thousands of rupees there and drank a lot of alcohol.
2 people were blown away by a car late at night
At 1.30 in the night, he drove towards his house in a very drunken state and ran over two people travelling on a bike in Kalyani Nagar. During this time, he was the only one in the car who was completely drunk, although he had already told the driver to go home. On the other hand, the police said that his father Vishal Agarwal and mother were partying somewhere else till late in the night in the joy of their son being with them.
Parents have no remorse
According to Pune Crime Branch, Vishal Agarwal and his family still have no regrets that his minor son killed two people under the influence of alcohol. A case has been registered against the minor accused’s father Vishal Agarwal under several sections including negligence, in which he can be sentenced to about 10 years of imprisonment.
Which two people died?
The two people who died in the accident with the car of the minor accused, Ashwini Koshta and Anees Awadhiya, were also returning home from an office party organised at Boiler Pub. After the party, both were returning home on a bike when the accused came from behind and hit them. Ashwini Koshta and Anees Awadhiya were working together in an IT company in Pune for the last 3 years.
Interrogation of 20 people
Pune Crime Branch has so far recorded the statements of 20 people in this case. Pune Police is waiting for the blood report of the minor accused. Only after the blood report comes, it will become clear whether the minor had only consumed alcohol or had also taken drugs. The police is also investigating from the drugs angle.
