NEET UG controversy: After several days of hue and cry over the paper leak case in the medical graduate entrance exam NEET, the central government today made it clear that the NEET exam will not be cancelled. He said that a high level committee has been formed to investigate the matter and strict action will be taken against anyone found guilty.
Amidst the uproar over NEET, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that I take moral responsibility for whatever happened in the NEET exam. He said that the Bihar government is investigating this matter. After the investigation, action will be taken against whoever is found guilty. On the question of not cancelling the NEET exam like NET, he said that the result of this exam has come and lakhs of children have given this exam after hard work. Cancelling the exam will be injustice to the meritorious students.
He said that this is an unfortunate incident. Lakhs of children have appeared in this exam. The government is committed to ensure justice to them.
Let us tell you that before the press conference of the Union Education Minister, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha made serious allegations against Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav regarding this matter. He said that Tejashwi Yadav’s personal secretary Pritam had booked a guest house for the stay of Sikandar Yadav, who is being exposed in the paper leak case.
