New Delhi: A world record was created under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of International Yoga Day at the United Nations Headquarters on Wednesday. It has been recorded in the Guinness World Record for the participation of people from most countries in the yoga session in the UN. Modi, who is on his first state visit to the US, led the historic celebrations on the International Day of Yoga. It was attended by top UN officials, diplomats and celebrities. Kassaba Korosi, President of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Hollywood actor Richard Gere, New York City Mayor Eric Adams, among others attended the Yoga Day celebrations.Hollywood was represented by actor Richard Gere. Apart from being an actor, Richard Gere works for human rights in Tibet. The Hollywood actor met the Dalai Lama during his visit to Nepal. After this he became a Buddhist. He regularly visits Dharamsala in India to meet the Dalai Lama.
