New Delhi. In the case of drowning of three students in the basement of Rao IAS Academy located in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi High Court today reprimanded Delhi Police and MCD. The court asked Delhi Police what have you done so far? Have the people responsible for sewer and other things been identified? The court asked Delhi Police why was a man walking on the road arrested? The police should apologize.
Police is respected when it catches the culprit and does not take any action against the innocent. If you start releasing the guilty by targeting the innocent, then it will be a very bad situation. Delhi Police said- this kind of impression has been created because of the media. We apologize. The court said- do not come under any kind of pressure. Just tell the truth. We all work under pressure. You have to face the situation and the investigation should be done in a scientific manner.
There is no respect for law in MCD…
MCD’s lawyer said- As Delhi Police is taking action regarding Rau Institute, we are taking action against the rest except that. The court told MCD that we keep passing orders but they are not implemented. The court said that there is no respect for law in your department, this cannot happen. The court told MCD that you are not above the law. What action has been taken against the local officials so far? Why are they still on their jobs?
