Ludhiana. A decision of the Punjab government is going to trouble 10 thousand policemen. Punjab’s Bhagwant Mann government has decided to transfer 10 thousand policemen. This decision was taken by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann during a meeting with several senior policemen of Punjab Police. Not only this, the Mann government has also announced that 10 thousand policemen will also be appointed in Punjab. This means that in the coming time, 10 thousand jobs will be released in Punjab Police.
The reason for the transfer of 10,000 policemen of the Punjab government is being told that many officers have been posted at one place for the last 5 years or more. Due to this, corruption spreads and this decision has been taken with the aim of ending it. In this meeting of Bhagwant Mann, senior police officers have been told that if any officer in any district is found involved in corrupt or illegal activities, then the Deputy Commissioner and Senior SP of that district will be held responsible.
CM Mann said that as the Chief Minister, I have given strict instructions that if any officer in any district asks for money or commission for any work and does illegal work, then the DC and SSP will be held responsible for it and action will be taken on that basis. Chief Minister Mann said that the number of police forces will be increased in the state. He said that Punjab Police is going to make 10,000 new recruitments at various levels in the coming days.
The Chief Minister said that complaints have been received from some places that corruption is still going on at the lower level. He said that the DPG has been asked to replace all the clerks and constables at the higher level. The Chief Minister said that the property of any drug smuggler caught will be confiscated. He said that orders have been given to strictly implement this. He said that orders have been given to the Punjab Police to eliminate the problem of drug addiction from Punjab. It will be made a mission and work will be done on a war footing.
