This time in ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy faced sharp questions from Rajat Sharma. Rajat Sharma asked Revanth Reddy a question about Adani that when his party leader Rahul Gandhi is calling Adani a ‘pickpocket’, then why did he give projects worth Rs 12,400 crore to industrialist Gautam Adani? To this Revanth Reddy replied, “I did not give my projects. Modi gave ports, airports. I took money from Adani ji’s pocket and got investment done in my state.”
‘Adani brand does not mean disqualification’
Answering this question of Rajat Sharma, Revanth Reddy said, “I took investment from them (Adani) in the power sector, in the sector of Artificial Intelligence. I want investment in my state from everyone, be it Adani, Tata. Be it Birla, Ambani or anyone else, I want to give equal opportunity to all those who can provide employment in my state. And, I do not favor anyone by going out of the way. Don’t want to do it.”
‘What Rahul ji says is right’
In ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, CM Revanth Reddy said that what Rahul ji says is right. The central government is giving projects to Adani at cheaper rates. I did not meet Adani behind closed doors. I met him in public. I invited them to invest in my state so that people can get employment.
‘Will not allow anyone to loot’
India TV Editor-in-Chief Rajat Sharma asked that Rahul Gandhi says that Adani is looting the country, then how can you allow someone who is looting the country to invest in your state? On this, CM Revanth Reddy said that I will not allow looting because I am the one. I will not allow anyone to loot Telangana. We will take investment, we will guarantee employment. I will give guarantees to the investors who come. Investment guarantee does not mean looting public money. I am for the safety of public money.
