Bengaluru: A sensational incident has come to light in Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka. The body of a 40 -year -old woman was recovered from a garbage -carrying truck on Sunday in the city’s Chennammankere Achuktattu area. After this heartbreaking incident, on Monday, the police arrested the deceased’s live-in partner on charges of murder.
Husband and wife used to tell yourself
The deceased has been identified as Asha, who was living with her male partner in a rented house in the Chennapanmankere Achuktattu area. According to the police, the two lived as husband and wife and used to do housekeeping work in a private company. Asha was originally from Assam and was in a live-in relationship with the accused for the last one year.
Death due to suffocation after quarrel
According to police investigation, Asha returned home on drunk on Saturday night. During this time, he got into a fight with his partner over something, which turned into violence. During the debate, Asha suffocated and died on the spot. Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Lokesh B. Jagalasar said that the incident occurred due to a mutual dispute and the initial investigation found the cause of the murder.
The body was thrown into the truck
After the murder, the accused tried to hide the woman’s body in the sack. Before Sunday morning, he threw the corpse into a garbage truck. When the local people saw the dead body in a suspicious condition in the truck, they immediately informed the police. Police reached the spot and captured the body and started investigating the case.
Case filed for murder and evidence
A case has been registered against the accused at the Achuktattu police station for murder and eradicating evidence. During interrogation, the accused has confessed his crime. The police have not yet made the identity of the accused public.
Both have children already
Police investigation has also revealed that Asha was a widow and the accused divorced. Both of them have one child from their respective relationships. The police is also investigating where the children were at the time of the incident and they saw anything. At present, the police is questioning the accused and the case is being investigated in depth. This incident is once again raising questions in the society about live-in relationship and domestic violence.
