A heartbreaking incident has come to light from Bagalkot district of Karnataka, where a husband allegedly killed his wife due to a domestic dispute. This incident is from Mughalkhoda village of Mudhol Taluk. The deceased has been identified as 19 -year -old Sakshita Valke, while accused husband Birappa Pujari (21) has been arrested by the police.
Relationship started with love, painful result
According to the information, Birappa and Witnesses met during his studies in Vadagola village in Belagavi district. The love affair between the two developed and got married a year ago with the family’s consent. After marriage, he started living in Mughalkhoda village of Bagalkot district.
Small thing, big crime?
According to the police report, there was a fight between the two at around 2 pm on 29 April, which the accused described the reason for “Sambhar not being properly made”. During the quarrel, Birappa allegedly strangled the witness to death. However, investigation has revealed that the dispute was not limited to cooking just.
Police suspects, illegal relations also due
Bagalkot Superintendent of Police Amarnath Reddy said that preliminary investigation has also revealed that the accused had relations with other women. Many suspicious pictures and conversations have been found in her mobile phone, which suspects that the wife came to know about these relationships and there were frequent disputes between the two.
There may be more reasons behind murder
In view of the seriousness of the case, the police is investigating with all aspects. It is also being seen whether this murder was done by the accused alone or the role of someone else. The police have started questioning the accused in custody and will soon be produced in court.
