A shocking case has come to light from Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh, where a husband got angry and strangled his wife to death. The incident happened when he saw his wife in an objectionable position with the neighboring youth. Seeing this, the accused lost his temper and he killed his wife.
The incident is said to be of a town in the city Kotwali area. The deceased woman has been identified as Asma, while the accused is named Khalid. According to the police, after the murder, the accused sat near the wife’s body for four hours. On knowing about the incident, the family informed the police.
As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it for postmortem. At the same time, the accused husband was also taken into custody from the spot. During the interrogation, the accused confessed his crime and told that he was already aware of his wife’s illicit relationship, which had been disputed many times.
Khalid told the police that he had no regrets of murder, but he is worried about the future of children. At present, the police is engaged in a thorough investigation into the case and further action is being taken under the legal process.
