Will Amity University provide Ayurveda education? Know what is special in the agreement with AIIA


Amity University Noida is now going to work on many big and important projects in collaboration with Delhi’s largest Ayurveda hospital, All India Institute of Ayurveda. An agreement was signed between the two institutions on Friday. It was told that Ayurveda Institute in collaboration with Amity University will soon work on many big education programs, research and analysis, information technology as well as artificial intelligence. At the same time, starting joint PhD studies will also be considered.

During this period, not only students but also faculty of Ayurveda institutes and universities will exchange hands and work will be done in the field of education and research. In the future, patients taking Ayurvedic treatment will also benefit from this.

The MoU was signed on Friday by AIIA Director Prof. Tanuja Nesari and Amity University Joint Registrar, Asha Premnath. This MoU is an extension of the MoU that has been in place with Amity University for the past five years.

On this occasion, Dr. Tanuja Nesari said that our institute is committed to realizing the goal of Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of developed India by 2047 and this MoU will prove to be an important step in this direction. We can promote development by sharing mutual knowledge and research.

During this, Vice Chancellor of Amity University Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Chairman of Amity Sciences Technology and Innovation Foundation, Dr. W. Selvamurthy Dean, (Dr.) B.C. Das and Head of Department of Shalakya Tantra from Ayurveda Institute, Prof. Manjusha Rajagopala, MS Prof. Anand Raman Sharma PV and Associate Professor of Dravyaguna Department Dr. Shivani Ghildiyal were present.

Let us tell you that AIIA has signed 40 MoUs with national level technical institutions and universities to promote research and documentation in the field of Ayurveda, which includes big institutions like IIT, CSIR and 17 international renowned institutions.
