Mumbai. In Maharashtra, a big leader is returning home to BJP. Eknath Khadse, who left the party and joined the Nationalist Congress Party over differences with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership in Maharashtra about three years ago, said on Saturday that he will join his parent party (BJP) in Delhi next week. Khadse, who was a minister in the previous Devendra Fadnavis government, had resigned from the post of minister in 2016 over a land deal issue. After a long wait, the undivided Nationalist Congress Party led by Sharad Pawar made him its member.
Khadse said that he had to leave the party due to some developments. He is currently a Legislative Council member of NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar). At one time Eknath Khadse was one of the top leaders of BJP in Maharashtra.

Khadse will go to Delhi next week
71-year-old Eknath Khadse told PTI, “I am returning to BJP. Eknath Khadse said that I contacted the central leadership of BJP and expressed my desire to return to the party. I will formally join BJP in Delhi next week.
Let us tell you that in the last few days, many prominent leaders in Maharashtra have left Congress and joined BJP. These include big names including Milind Deora and Ashok Chavan. Where Ashok Chavan has joined BJP. At the same time, Milind Deora joined Shinde faction Shiv Sena. Bollywood star Govinda has also left Congress and joined Shiv Sena.
