New Delhi. Amidst the counting of votes, the lobbying for government formation has also begun. According to the trends so far, BJP’s NDA alliance is seen getting 297 seats out of the total 543 seats of Lok Sabha, while Congress’s Indi alliance is leading on 228 seats. In such a situation, NDA has crossed the majority mark of 272 seats, but Indi alliance has also started making efforts to form the government. Indi alliance is now eyeing its old allies Nitish Kumar and Chandra Babu Naidu. According to sources, Indi alliance has also offered Nitish Kumar to be made the Deputy Prime Minister. Now it remains to be seen whether Nitish Kumar will change sides once again and leave NDA and accept the offer of Indi alliance.
Let us tell you that Nitish Kumar himself had initially tried to unite the leaders of various parties for the formation of the Indy alliance, however, later he himself broke away from the grand alliance of the opposition and joined the NDA. By the way, it is also being told that Bihar Deputy CM and BJP leader Samrat Chaudhary had gone to meet Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at his residence some time ago, but Nitish did not meet him and went to have food. This attitude of Nitish has once again intensified the political stir. However, JDU leader KC Tyagi has given a statement that JDU is in NDA and will remain in NDA. It is worth noting that in the trends so far, NDA is getting 297 seats. These include 14 seats of Nitish’s JDU and 16 seats of Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP. In such a situation, if Nitish and Naidu leave the NDA and join the Indy alliance, then the NDA alliance will be far from the majority figure.
