T20 World Cup 2024 India Fixtures in Super 8: At present, the T20 World Cup is being played in America and West Indies. However, the America tour is about to end and after this all the matches will be played on different grounds in West Indies. There is a lot of difference between the time of India and America. That is why when you watch the match in India, you can see the difference. But now the question is that the league matches of the Indian team used to start at 8 pm, will this trend continue in future or will the time of the matches change.
India’s Super 8 matches will also start at 8 pm
India’s matches in the T20 World Cup are currently starting at 8 pm Indian time. But the matches of other teams are being held at different times. Some matches are starting as early as 6 am. Some matches start at 10 pm and some at 12:30 pm and go on till late night, which Indian fans are missing. But the matter of relief is that after the league, when Team India goes to West Indies to play Super 8 matches, there too all the matches will start at 8 pm Indian time.
Team India has entered the Super 8 by winning consecutive matches
The Indian cricket team did not have to struggle much to qualify for the Super 8 of the T20 World Cup 2024 with three consecutive wins in the group stage. India will play its last group stage match against Canada in Florida on June 15. India will enter the Super 8 as the A1 team. With this, it has also been decided that India will face Australia and Afghanistan there. Both Australia and Afghanistan have not lost a single match in their respective groups. That is, there is a strong possibility of a tough match. India’s third match will be against the second-best team of Group D. In Group D, South Africa have already secured qualification with three wins in three matches, while Bangladesh and the Netherlands are fighting for the second slot.
India will face either Bangladesh or Netherlands
Bangladesh will face Nepal and the Netherlands will try their luck against Sri Lanka in their final group-stage matches on June 16. Bangladesh are most likely to advance to Super 8 Group 1, as they have a comparatively better net run rate and lower-ranked opponent Nepal. Rohit Sharma’s side will begin their Super 8 campaign against Afghanistan in Kensington on June 20 and then take on either Bangladesh or the Netherlands in North Sound on June 22. India will take on Test and ODI champions Australia in their last Super 8 match at Gros Islet on June 24.
