Manu Bhaker is also the first athlete of independent India to win 2 medals in the same Olympics. I was very nervous before the event
Manu Bhaker said in an interview to India TV after winning her second medal in shooting at the Paris Olympics that I was very nervous before the event and I had expected to win a medal, but we performed very well. I have played all my matches very well and I can say that I deserved to win this medal. After a lot of struggle, winning this medal means a lot to me. My coach Jaspal Rana also has a big role in this and so do my parents.
In mixed team events, the support of the other partner is also very important
After winning the bronze medal in the mixed team event in shooting, Manu Bhaker further said that in this event, the support of your other partner is also very important because you cannot win the medal alone. Sarabjot played a very important role in winning the medal with her last shot. On the other hand, in response to a question about the preparation for her next event 25 meter air pistol in shooting, Manu said that the preparation for it has been very good and let’s see how it goes and I am trying to give my 100 percent.
