Good news for the countrymen from BSNL and MTNL.
The government has decided to merge these two companies into one, due to which network operation will be easier across the country and with the expansion of 5G network, cheap tariff plans will come again across the country. The government has already taken forward the talks with Tata Consultancy Services regarding the 4G and 5G launch of BSNL.
MTNL shares jumped
As soon as the news came out, the shares of MTNL started climbing rapidly and closed at Rs 22.9 with a gain of 5.53% till the end of the business today. In recent times, this was the first such huge gain for the company.
Recharge plan will be the cheapest.
Apart from being a government company, BSNL will provide 4G and 5G services with its cheapest tariffs across the country. Along with this, BSNL will also remain the company making the longest incoming call after the recharge is over and people will come back to the day when they will not have to recharge without any reason.
