The first phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 has concluded on April 19. Whereas, the second phase of voting will be held on 26 April 2024. What is the whole matter?
According to the information, a group of rural women had reached the booth in Piprali, Rajasthan to vote. Meanwhile, some noise was heard from inside the polling booth. It was found out that a rural woman was adamant on why there is no picture of PM Modi on the EVM? The woman said – “Oh my God, Modiji, who is the photo?” Later it was explained to the woman that the photo and election symbol were not of Modi but of the candidate representing Modi. After this she voted.
PM Modi became emotional
The news of this incident at Piprali booth also reached PM Modi. The PM tweeted and wrote – “I have tears in my eyes after seeing this affection of mothers and sisters, I also have a resolve to pay off this debt.” PM Modi further said that it is the responsibility of us workers to pay attention to these details.
