Malpura. People struggling with drinking water crisis in Diggi village of subdivision are now coming on the streets. Hundreds of women of Diggi Kalyan Colony, who are struggling with serious drinking water crisis, staged a strong protest by taking out a procession towards shouting slogans on Monday. Shouting slogans for water, the procession of women reached Diggi Municipality Office where they submitted a memorandum to the Palik EO and demanded to make drinking water arrangements soon. The women warned that if proper arrangements for drinking water are not made in Diggi’s Kalyan Colony in time, then women will do a big movement. The special thing is that Kanhaiya Lal Chaudhary, MLA of Malpura assembly constituency, is the cabinet minister of the Department of Water in the State Government. In their area, women have to agitate on the roads for drinking water.
