Jharkhand Gau Seva Aayog is emphasizing on conservation and promotion of cows in the state as well as increasing the income of the people associated with it. In this series, rural women of the state are being linked with cow dung processing. Jharkhand Gau Seva Aayog gave its approval to 12 proposals on Wednesday. Chairman Rajiv Ranjan, State Agriculture Minister Deepika Pandey Singh and members of the commission attended the meeting of Jharkhand Gau Seva Aayog.
Gau Seva Aayog Chairman Rajiv Ranjan said that now 5500 women will be given training in cow dung processing in the entire state. Till now, the cow dung processing program was run only in Ranchi district, but now it will be run in the entire state. A large number of women will be connected to it. He said that 23 cow shelters were registered in 16 districts of Jharkhand. But the registration of one of these cow shelters, Maa Mansa Arogya Dham, Gaushala Baharagora East Singhbhum has been cancelled after investigation.
It has been decided to install high mask lights in every Gaushala of the state. A proposal for hydroponic fodder has also been brought in those Gaushalas which have a little more land. Ranchi Gaushala has been given Rs. 7,50,000 for the welfare of the cows. Devghar Gaushala has been given Rs. 7,47,000. The commission has also passed a proposal to keep and send injured cows to the Gaushala. A proposal was also passed to provide hydraulic ambulances to the Gaushalas of the state.
