Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YIDA has cancelled the allotment of land given to Sunworld Infrastructure and Supertech Township near the under-construction Noida International Airport and the proposed Film City. The authority on Wednesday cancelled the land allotted to these two realty companies in view of the pending dues on them. These companies were given about 100 acres of land to develop a township in Sector-22D adjacent to the Yamuna Expressway.

Sunworld Infrastructure owed Rs 164.86 crore for land allotment. While Supertech Township had to pay Rs 137.28 crore. In the 81st meeting of the Board of Directors of YEIDA held on Wednesday, it was decided to cancel their land allotment. Authority Chairman Anil Kumar Sagar chaired the meeting.
They were given time to pay the dues
Apart from this, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Authority Arun Veer Singh said that ATS Realty has been given time till 31 July and Greenbay Infrastructure till 31 August to pay its dues. The pending dues on these two developers are only 25 percent of the total dues on them. In accordance with the recommendations of the Amitabh Kant Committee on the stalled housing projects, the state government had approved the continuation of work on these projects.
