The first budget of the second term of the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh was presented in the assembly on Thursday. In this budget, special attention has been taken from farmers to small scale industries, electricity consumers, women and youth. Along with this, it has also been announced to develop technology, university-college to promote education. The size of the budget for the financial year 2022-23 is Rs 6 lakh 15 thousand 518 crore. This is the biggest budget of Uttar Pradesh government till date. Earlier the budget was about five and a half lakh crore rupees.
Uttar Pradesh Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna has announced to provide 4 lakh jobs in 5 years for the youth. A budget of 150 crores has been proposed for the scholarship.
Two free cylinders under LPG
Making a big announcement, the Yogi government said that under the annual Ujjwala scheme, two free cylinders will be given to the beneficiaries. Under this, women will be given benefits under this scheme. This will be given under two free cylinder subsidy.
50% discount on electricity bill of private tubewells
During the financial year 2022-23, it was announced that 50 percent rebate will be given in the electricity bill of private tubewells. The Finance Minister said that a budget of 380 crores is proposed for the establishment of sugar mill. At the same time, there is a proposal of 8 crore 58 lakh for Banda Agricultural University. At the same time, Nand Baba Award will be started for milk producers. A new dairy plant of 3 thousand liters will be set up in Mathura.
free uniform to students
School Chalo Abhiyan aims to enroll 2 crore students. A provision of 18670 crores is proposed for the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan. A budget of Rs 370 crore is proposed for free uniforms. 300 crore is proposed for cooperative loans to farmers.
Budget for Metro in Kanpur, Agra and Gorakhpur
There is a proposal of budget of 747 crores for Kanpur Metro Rail. 597 crore for Agra Metro Rail, 1306 crore for Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor. Metro rail will also start in Banaras and Gorakhpur. A provision of Rs 100 crore is proposed for Banaras and Gorakhpur Metro.
Benefits to these people under PM Awas Yojana
508 crore for Vantangia and Musahar housing, 7373 crore budget provision is proposed for PM Gram Sadak Yojana. At the same time, a target has been set to achieve 5.1 percent growth rate in the agriculture sector. A provision of one thousand crores is proposed for the payment of sugarcane.
