Yogi government had decided to provide a budget of Rs 2500 crore for permanent projects in the Mahakumbh to be held in Prayagraj in the year 2025. The government has released a budget of Rs 1,000 crore on May 30 itself. One thousand more rupees were released on Friday. The government has kept the projects for Mahakumbh 2025 in three parts. Large projects that are expected to take more than a year. This includes railway over bridges, fly overs, permanent structures etc. The second category consists of small projects that can be completed in less than a year. Roads, access roads, parking etc. have been kept in it. In the third category, temporary works of Mahakumbh to be held in the fair area have been kept. The government has so far released a budget of Rs 2 thousand crore for big projects.
Rs 40 crore was released by the Tourism Department for Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025. This amount will be used for tourism development of Takshak Teerth, Maharishi Bhardwaj Ashram, Dwadash Madhav Temple, Panchkoshi Parikrama Path Temple, Kalyani Devi Temple, Alopshankari Devi, Padila Mahadev Temple, Durvasa Rishi Ashram etc. located in Daryaabad.
