Due to this, on the one hand, there will be a sudden boom in the economy of the state, on the other hand, the people of the state will get cheap treatment, medicines and better facilities for investigation. For this, the Yogi government will develop central and western UP as BPharma and Medical Device Park. Not only this, the Yogi government will give subsidy on interest to the company on purchase of Pharma Park land, subsidy on interest on construction of basic facilities. Along with this, the company can also be given exemption on stamp duty along with 15 percent subsidy on the total cost. Medical devices and medicines made in UP will be supplied to Germany, France, South Asia and USA.
Land marked in Gautam Budh Nagar for Medical Device Park
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in a high-level meeting that at present there is a lot of opportunity in the medical industry as it is a high-tech and demanding industry. On the other hand, in the entire country, maximum number of children complete the education of about 74 thousand pharma graduation in UP annually. In such a situation, UP can be easily developed as a medical hub. Some cities of central and western UP are more suitable for this. The city is located near the expressway. Also, there are already small medical companies here. CM Yogi said that at present the UP Growth State Value Addition (GSVN) in the field of medical is less than one billion dollars, it needs to be increased to 2 to 3 billion dollars. To increase this, Gautam Budh Nagar has been selected to develop the Medical Device Park. For this, land has been identified near Jewar Airport in Gautam Buddha Nagar. Soon the construction work of Medical Device Park will start here. Apart from this, Pharma Park will be constructed in Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Kanpur Nagar, Gorakhpur and Hapur.
Yogi government will give subsidy and exemption in stamp duty
The Yogi government will give interest subsidy of up to 50 percent on purchase of land to the giants of the medical industry for setting up Pharma Parks in UP and up to 60 percent interest subsidy on the construction of basic facilities along with common facilities inside the Pharma Parks. Apart from this, along with giving subsidy up to 15 percent on the total cost, exemption in stamp duty will be given on the purchase of land. About one thousand to 17 hundred acres of land will be needed to develop UP as a medical industry. For this the Yogi government will spend 3 to 4 billion dollars. At the same time, Easton Dedicated Freight Corridor will also be set up for the supply of medical devices and medicines in foreign countries and other states so that they can be reached at the earliest.
Medical devices will be supplied in USA, France and Germany
Medical devices and medicines made in UP will be supplied to USA, France, Germany and South Asia. There is a great demand for medical equipment, instruments and medicines. Medical equipment includes lab equipment, needles, sutures, dental kits, etc., while equipment includes parts of X-ray machines, etc. On the other hand, the establishment of medical industry in the state will also lead to growth in metal, machinery, glass, chemical and plastic industries because without these industries, pharma companies cannot prepare their products. This will also provide means of employment. According to an estimate, 60 thousand new employment opportunities will be created every year with the establishment of medical industry in the state, while at present this figure is only 20 thousand to 40 thousand per year. These jobs will be most available in the field of production, packaging, supervisor, production machine operator, quality control chemist and manager etc.
