The Yogi government will give two lakh rupees to the family of Babar Ali, who was lynched in Kushinagar. Babar, a Muslim youth, was lynched to death after a dispute over voting in favor of the BJP and distribution of sweets if the government was formed. The Chief Minister has already ordered an inquiry into the matter.
On March 21, Babar Ali, a resident of Kathgharhi of Ramkola police station area, was beaten up after a dispute with neighbors for voting in favor of BJP and bursting crackers after distributing sweets in the village on victory. Babur was seriously injured in this. He was being treated at a private hospital in Lucknow. He died on 25 March during treatment.

On the matter, the newly appointed cabinet minister of UP Dayashankar Singh said that the Yogi government will take strict action against the accused. Maintaining law and order in the state is the priority of the government. The police are involved in the investigation of the matter. Soon the accused will be in the custody of the police.
On the other hand, Kushinagar DSP Sandeep Verma says that so far two people have been arrested in the case and sent to jail. The accused sent to jail also belong to Babar’s community. Kushinagar SDM Varun Kumar Pandey says that information has been received that a complaint of intimidation was lodged on behalf of the victim but no action could be taken. An FIR has been registered regarding this. Investigation is going on. Strict action will be taken against the culprits.
