After the success of the Deepotsav program organized in Ayodhya, the Yogi government has now started preparations on a large scale to provide health services to lakhs of devotees coming from every corner of the country in the Kartik Snan Mela, 14 Kosi Parikrama and Panchkosi Parikrama of Ayodhya. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjay Jain has made Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ram Mani Shukla in-charge of the fair and given him the responsibility of conducting health services and cleanliness programs in the fair.
Beds reserved in temporary medical camps and big hospitals
The Health Department has reserved 20 beds in three big hospitals of the district, 20 beds in the Medical College, 20 beds in the District Hospital, Purusha and 10 beds in the Shri Ram Hospital, to provide health services to the devotees coming to the Kartik Snan Mela. Apart from this, temporary medical camps are being set up at 15 places. Fair in-charge Dr. Rammani Shukla told that Control Room, Hanumangarhi, Railway Station, Kanak Bhawan, Ram Janmabhoomi, Ram Ki Paidi, Nageshwar Nath, Pakka Ghat, Karsevak Puram, Hanuman Cave, Saket Petrol Pump, Jhunki Ghat, International Bus Stand, Dashrath Mahal. And temporary medical camps have been set up at Bandha Tiraha. A temporary medical camp of eight beds is also being built at Pakka Ghat.
10 ambulances will be available at all times in the fair area.
To deal with any incident, ambulance will be present at all times at 10 places in the fair area. This ambulance will be present at Pakka Ghat, Bandha Tiraha, Control Room, Saket Petrol Pump, Nageshwar Nath, Hanumangarhi, Kanak Bhawan, Ram Janmabhoomi, Ayodhya Dham railway station and booth number four.
14 Medical camps will be organized at 16 places on Kosi Parikrama route.
Health services will be provided to the patients by setting up temporary medical camps at 16 places on the famous 14 Kosi Parikrama route of Ayodhya. Fair in-charge told control room Hanuman Cave, Mauni Baba, Halkara hamlet, Darshan Darshan, Nagar Achari Sagra, Mirzapur, Jaunora, Sahadatganj Hanumangarhi, Guptar Ghat, Jamthara, Opium Kothi, Amaniganj, Chakra Teerth, Nirmochan Ghat, temporary medical treatment at Jhunki Ghat. Camps will be set up.
Temporary medical camps will be set up at nine places on the Panchkosi Parikrama route.
Dr. Ram Mani Shukla said that temporary medical camps will be constructed at Control Room, Hanuman Cave, Mauni Baba, Halkara Purva, Udaya Square, Mohbara, Chakratirtha, Nirmochan Ghat and Jhunki Ghat.
Cleaning arrangements during the fair
Regular fogging will be done in the Municipal Corporation area every day from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock. Apart from this, anti-larvae will be sprayed every day. This arrangement will continue two days before the start of Parikrama Kartik Purnima Snan Mela till two days after it ends.
Health department appointed employees to provide health services in the fair.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjay Jain said that 54 medical officers, one female medical officer, 54 pharmacists, 54 class IV employees, four supervisors and about 250 sanitation workers have been appointed for the Kartik Mela, 14 Kosi and Panchkosi Parikrama of Ayodhya.
