Bhopal. Congress has suffered another major setback in Madhya Pradesh during the Lok Sabha elections. Former minister Deepak Saxena, close to Kamal Nath and a four-time Congress MLA, has also joined BJP. Saxena took membership of BJP in the presence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav at the state office in Bhopal. Before this, Deepak Saxena’s son Ajay Saxena has also joined BJP.
Before Deepak Saxena, Kamalesh Shah, the MLA close to Kamal Nath in Chhindwara district, has also left Congress and joined BJP. Syed Zafar, another close aide of Kamal Nath, has also left Congress and joined BJP. Voting is on 19th April for Chhindwara Lok Sabha seat from where Kamal Nath’s son Nakul Nath is in the fray again. BJP has given ticket to Vivek Bunty Sahu.
