Ahmedabad. The Gujarat High Court has severely reprimanded the Municipal Corporation and the local administration for the Rajkot Game Zone accident. It has been revealed that the owner of the TRP Game Zone had made this entire ramp out of wood. Apart from this, there was only one entry-exit gate and he had not even taken NOC from the administration. Pointing out these irregularities, the High Court reprimanded in a strict tone.
The High Court found that Rajkot’s gaming zone was built on unauthorized land and the case regarding fire safety was going on for four years. The court said on this, ‘Now we do not trust the local administration and the state government, you had become blind. Had the officials fallen asleep when all this was going on for so many years?’
‘Was the officer asleep?’
During the hearing in Gujarat High Court, a bench of Justices Biren Vaishnav and Deven Desai asked who is responsible for this accident. How many orders have we passed in the last four years? Why were the officers responsible for this sleeping?
