New Delhi. Sheikh Hasina, who resigned from the post of Prime Minister after massive anti-government protests in Bangladesh, is going to London via India. PTI gave this information quoting several diplomatic sources. It is being told that Hasina is traveling in a transport aircraft C-130J Hercules of the Bangladesh Air Force and this plane is likely to stop in India for some time. However, it is not yet clear whether she will go further from India by military transport aircraft or go to London by some other plane.
Diplomatic sources told PTI that India has decided to allow Hasina’s plane to pass safely through Indian airspace after Dhaka’s request. Earlier, there was news that Sheikh Hasina’s plane had landed in Agartala, the capital of Tripura, after which it is being said that she may fly to London. Now let’s talk about the military plane in which she is traveling. Sheikh Hasina is on the Bangladesh Army’s C-130J Hercules aircraft, which is manufactured by American company Lockheed Martin.
The C-130J is the latest edition of the C-130 Hercules and is currently the only model being produced. Lockheed Martin has so far sold more than 500 C-130J Hercules aircraft to more than 20 countries. This aircraft is mostly used for high-level services. Talking about its specialty, it is a four-engine turboprop military cargo plane with new engines, flight deck and other systems.
With more than 2 million flight hours demonstrated supporting tactical airlift, search and rescue, special operations and refueling missions worldwide, the C-130J Super Hercules is the most advanced C-130 aircraft ever designed.

* Power to cover a height of 26,000 feet with a weight of 20,227 kg.
* Speed 410 mph at 22,000 feet (6,706 m).
* Maximum weight 44,000 lbs (19,958 kg)
* Can travel a range of 2,417 miles (2,100 nautical miles) at maximum normal weight.
* With a 40,000 pound payload, this aircraft has a range of 2,390 nautical miles or 4,425 km.
What makes the C-130J Hercules aircraft so special?
The heart of the new Super Hercules advanced technology, which flies at a speed of 644 km per hour, is its modern flight station, which has a multi-function, LCD screen for the aircraft flight control, operating and navigation systems. In addition to four displays on the instrument panel, pilots use a holographic head-up display as primary flight instruments, a first among military transports.
