क्या आप जानते हैं कि जैसे हवाई यात्रा (Flight Travel) के दौरान आपके सामान पर वजन की लिमिट होती है, वैसे ही ट्रेन यात्रा (Train Travel) में भी एक तय सीमा तक ही सामान ले जाने की अनुमति है? जी हां, भारतीय रेलवे (Indian Railways) ने यात्रियों के लिए अलग-अलग कोचों के हिसाब से सामान के वजन की सीमाएं तय की हैं। अगर आप तय सीमा से ज्यादा सामान लेकर चलते हैं, तो आपको जुर्माना (Penalty) देना पड़ सकता है। कई लोगों को इस नियम के बारे में जानकारी नहीं होती और वे भारी-भरकम सामान के साथ ट्रेन में सफर करते हैं। ऐसे में रेलवे यात्रियों को जागरूक कर रहा है कि वे तय सीमा के अनुसार ही सामान लेकर चलें, ताकि यात्रा के दौरान किसी तरह की असुविधा या जुर्माना झेलना न पड़े। आइए जानते हैं कि किस कोच में कितना सामान ले जाना मान्य है और नियमों का उल्लंघन करने पर आपको कितना जुर्माना देना पड़ सकता है। फर्स्ट एसी (First AC) यात्रियों के लिए सबसे ज्यादा छूट अगर आप फर्स्ट क्लास एसी कोच (First Class AC Coach) में यात्रा कर रहे हैं, तो आपके पास 70 किलो तक का सामान ले जाने की अनुमति है। इतना ही नहीं, रेलवे यात्रियों को अतिरिक्त 15 किलो सामान ले जाने की भी छूट देता है, जिस पर कोई अतिरिक्त शुल्क नहीं लगता। यानी कुल मिलाकर आप 85 किलो तक का सामान बिना किसी जुर्माने के साथ ले जा सकते हैं। सेकंड एसी (Second AC) में क्या है सीमा? सेकंड एसी (2AC) में यात्रा करने वाले यात्री 50 किलो तक का सामान आराम से ले जा सकते हैं। इसके अलावा, रेलवे 10 किलो का अतिरिक्त सामान भी बिना किसी शुल्क के ले जाने की अनुमति देता है। यानी सेकंड एसी यात्री कुल 60 किलो तक सामान के साथ यात्रा कर सकते हैं बिना किसी चिंता के। थर्ड एसी (Third AC) और चेयर कार (Chair Car) यात्रियों के लिए सामान की लिमिट थर्ड एसी (3AC) और चेयर कार (Chair Car) में यात्रा करने वाले यात्रियों के लिए सामान की सीमा थोड़ी कम है। इन कोचों में यात्री 40 किलो तक का सामान ले सकते हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त, 10 किलो का सामान और ले जाने की छूट दी गई है, यानी कुल 50 किलो तक का सामान आप मुफ्त में अपने साथ रख सकते हैं। स्लीपर (Sleeper) और सेकेंड क्लास (Second Class) यात्रियों के लिए नियम अगर आप स्लीपर कोच (Sleeper Coach) में सफर कर रहे हैं, तो आप 40 किलो तक सामान ले जा सकते हैं। इसके अलावा, 10 किलो का अतिरिक्त सामान भी बिना किसी चार्ज के ले जाने की अनुमति है। वहीं, सेकेंड क्लास (Second Class/General Coach) में सफर करने वाले यात्री 35 किलो तक का सामान साथ ले जा सकते हैं और अतिरिक्त 10 किलो का सामान भी फ्री में ले जाने की छूट है। तय लिमिट से ज्यादा सामान होने पर क्या होगा? अगर आप तय लिमिट से ज्यादा सामान लेकर यात्रा करते हैं और उसका एडवांस में रेलवे के लगेज बुकिंग काउंटर पर चार्ज नहीं भरते हैं, तो आपको भारी जुर्माना भरना पड़ेगा। रेलवे के नियमों के अनुसार, तय सीमा से ज्यादा सामान पर बुकिंग चार्ज के अलावा, उस चार्ज का 6 गुना जुर्माना वसूला जाएगा। उदाहरण के लिए, अगर आपके अतिरिक्त सामान पर 100 रुपये का चार्ज बनता है और आपने उसे पहले से बुक नहीं कराया है, तो आपको 600 रुपये का जुर्माना भरना पड़ेगा। जुर्माने से कैसे बचें? अगर आप ट्रेन से लंबी दूरी की यात्रा कर रहे हैं और आपके पास सामान ज्यादा है, तो यात्रा से पहले ही रेलवे स्टेशन पर स्थित लगेज बुकिंग काउंटर (Luggage Booking Counter) पर जाकर अपने अतिरिक्त सामान की बुकिंग करा लें। इससे: आपको कोई पेनल्टी नहीं लगेगी। आपका अतिरिक्त सामान सुरक्षित रहेगा। आपकी यात्रा तनावमुक्त और आरामदायक होगी। रेलवे का यह नियम यात्रियों की सुविधा और ट्रेन के भीतर भार नियंत्रण को ध्यान में रखते हुए बनाया गया है। इससे न केवल डिब्बों में अनावश्यक भीड़भाड़ कम होती है, बल्कि यात्रियों की सुरक्षा भी सुनिश्चित होती है। यात्रा से पहले रखें इन बातों का ध्यान यात्रा शुरू करने से पहले अपने सामान का वजन एक बार जरूर चेक कर लें। अगर सामान तय लिमिट से ज्यादा है तो उसे एडवांस में बुक करवा लें। टिकट और लगेज बुकिंग रसीद को अपने पास सुरक्षित रखें। प्लेटफॉर्म पर या ट्रेन में चेकिंग के दौरान सही दस्तावेज दिखाकर किसी भी तरह की असुविधा से बचें। निष्कर्ष भारतीय रेलवे की ओर से तय किए गए सामान की लिमिट का पालन करना हर यात्री की जिम्मेदारी है। इससे न सिर्फ आपका सफर आसान होता है, बल्कि दूसरों के लिए भी यात्रा का अनुभव बेहतर बनता है। इसलिए अगली बार जब आप ट्रेन से यात्रा करें, तो अपने सामान की लिमिट जरूर ध्यान में रखें और बिना किसी जुर्माने के आनंदपूर्वक अपनी यात्रा पूरी करें।
