Hansa Research Group recently conducted a study in 10 cities of India, on the basis of which it was claimed that 85 percent of the youth of India start struggling with fatigue as soon as they wake up in the morning. There can be many reasons for fatigue as soon as they wake up in the morning, but the biggest one is screen time. Clinical nutritionist Dr. Priyanka Rohatgi said that if the youth do not make their lifestyle healthy, then it can have many serious consequences.
Causes of fatigue when waking up in the morning
Dr. Priyanka Rohatgi told that if you feel tired early in the morning and even after that you feel tired, then there can be many reasons for this. The first is bad sleeping habits. If you wake up frequently at night or do not get enough sleep or have any sleep disorder, then its effect will definitely be there in the morning. At the same time, sleeping after drinking coffee at night, consuming alcohol, being under a lot of stress and anxiety can also be the reason for fatigue in the morning. If you eat very late at night, drink alcohol or consume unhealthy food, then also you will feel tired in the morning. Changes in some hormones will also cause fatigue in the morning. If cortisol hormone is released more, then there will be more fatigue in the morning. However, the worst habit of today’s youth is spending the whole night on electronic gadgets. Most of the youth remain on screen time till midnight. When the light of the screen falls on the eyes, then the problem of eyes occurs, apart from this, it does not allow the sleep hormone melatonin to be formed. Due to this, sleep does not come early. Some youngsters remain busy on mobile phones and videos till four in the morning. In such a situation, one will surely feel tired when they wake up in the morning.
What to do to avoid fatigue in the morning
Dr. Priyanka Rohatgi told that first of all go to bed and eliminate screen time. Do not watch any kind of video on mobile, it will cause a lot of harm. Apart from this, do not eat late at night. Do not eat heavy meals at night. Try to eat early in the night and after eating, take a short walk and spend time with family at home. Do not watch mobile TV after going to bed. Along with this, regular exercise is very important. Exercise for half an hour every day. In this you can do walking, jogging, cycling, swimming etc. Eat green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits daily. Do yoga and meditation to relieve stress, listen to your favorite music. Eat strawberries, blueberries, sweet potatoes, walnuts, almonds etc.
