Lifestyle News Desk, Premanand Maharaj is a famous spiritual guru who hears many problems and gives solutions to their questions. These questions are related to people’s common life, but there are some questions which are related to everyone’s life and can help everyone to avoid this problem. One such devotee questioned him why bad thoughts come to the mind and how he would have been saved, then Premanand Maharaj gave a very satisfied answer to it.
He said that the mind is fickle and its speed is so intense that it is the most difficult task to control it. A seeker spends the whole life to control it. But if you have constant bad and untoward thoughts in your mind, then they are inspired by the deeds of your previous births. The effect of your previous birth deeds gives you anxiety, trouble and such thoughts, in which you are trapped and try to get out. You know that such thoughts are doing harm to you, but you do not find such thoughts even if you want to. Premanand ji said that your mind is very clever. He does not want trouble, so he keeps looking for a way to avoid good thoughts and promotes easy and dirty work. But in such a situation you should burn your mind. He should be busy with good work, so that he does not have time to think about bad thoughts. You should compel God, so that the mind is busy in chanting God. Initially there will be difficulty but later you will get used to. Anyway, the birth of man is not found to get entangled with such thoughts or to raise a gilt in the mind, but to make it ascetic. Apart from Premanand Maharaj, many spiritual gurus have described the way to avoid such thoughts, which is as follows.
1. Take support of Sumiran and Bhajan
To calm and purify the mind, chant the name or hymn-kirtan. According to Saint Premanand ji, when the mind is absorbed in devotion, bad thoughts automatically remove.
2. Effect and satsang of the company
Do well with good and satsangi people. Avoid bad association because the company directly affects our thoughts. The mind is filled with positive energy by listening to the discourse of saints and going into satsang.

The empty mind is the house of the devil. Therefore, always keep your mind busy in good works, studies, service, or meditation. Keep the body active as well as laziness attracts bad thoughts.
4. Teaching of texts

5. Spend time with nature
By spending time in nature, the mind is calm and pure. Morning walks, meditation under trees, or sitting on the banks of rivers remove bad thoughts.
7. Faith and surrender in God, Premanand ji says to have full faith in God and accept every situation as his will. When the mind is dedicated to God, bad thoughts do not stand in it.
