Saharanpur: Farmers of Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh are known for doing a different kind of farming. Today we are going to tell you about a farmer who has planted some Amrita trees in his field. The leaves of Amrita tree prove to be more effective especially in fever. This tree is called Amrita because wherever you cut this tree and keep it, the roots of this tree start from there itself. That is, this tree does not even need the soil of the ground.
The most popular name of Amrita is Giloy. It works as a panacea for many diseases including fever. Amrita is also used in Ayurvedic medicines.
Benefits of applying Amrita
While talking to Local 18, farmer Surendra Kumar told that he has planted neem’s Amrita (Giloy) in his field. He had brought this tree from the forest. The way the weather is changing, seasonal fever is affecting people. Doctors also recommend boiling Amrita (Giloy) leaves and giving it to fever patients.
How does it work in different diseases
While talking to Local 18, Ayurveda Dr. Harsh told that Amrita is used in various diseases. Amrita (Giloy) is used in any liver related disease. It has an important role in diabetes. If someone’s sugar level is reaching 200, 250, 300, then if 50 ml of Amrita juice is given to him and his sugar level is checked after 10 minutes, it will go down to 50 to 60.
It is also very useful in arthritis. Amrita (Giloy) is also given to patients with digestion problems. If Amrita is given to a cough patient, it provides great relief. It is also very beneficial for asthma patients. Dr. Harsh says that Amrita works like nectar for every part of the body.
