India will become a global tourist center
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the first full budget of the third term of the Modi government today and its 8th budget. The Finance Minister has made many big announcements in the budget. Many big announcements have also been made about the plan to become a tourist center in India including the formation of Makhana Board in Bihar, tax exemption on 12 lakh income, discount on 36 medicines of cancer. There will be development of 50 tourist destinations in the country:
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the Union Budget 2025 on Saturday and said that the government will develop the top 50 tourist places in the country. This work will be done through Challenge mode in association with the states. States will also be given incentives related to performance for effective management of destinations.
Loan will be given for homestay:
The Finance Minister also announced that Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency Limited (MUDRA) loans would be provided for homestand. Special attention will be given to places related to the life and time of Lord Buddha in the development of tourist destinations.
Also, the government will work in partnership with the private sector to promote medical tourism and heel in India.
