W/L written on the yellow board means CT/Level Crossing. Whereas C/FA means CT/Gate.

C/FA and W/L written on the yellow board are for the loco pilot of the train. This sign board signals the loco pilot to start blowing the train horn as soon as the loco pilot reaches this area.
