Koderma. During the rainy season, cases of people suffering from malaria and dengue are often reported. The risk of this serious disease increases due to mosquitoes that breed due to waterlogging after rain. This disease increases after initial symptoms like weakness, body ache, fever, if it is not treated on time, then sometimes dengue can also become fatal. After getting dengue, the patient’s platelets also start decreasing rapidly. People also advise each other various types of home remedies to increase platelets, however, District Ayush Medical Officer Dr. Prabhat Kumar has shared important information on whether this can be beneficial or not.
Consume papaya in this way, platelets will increase
In a special conversation with Local 18, Dr. Prabhat told that Ayurveda also talks about the benefits of drinking papaya leaf juice. Papaya leaves not only help in increasing platelet count, but also help in reducing dengue symptoms and making blood healthy. When there is less platelet in the body, extracting juice from tender papaya leaves and consuming one cup each in the morning and evening starts increasing the platelet. Eating papaya along with this will also be beneficial. Papaya leaves contain antioxidants which help in strengthening the immune system. Papaya leaves also contain fiber, which can help in digestion.
Goat milk is also beneficial
Dr. Prabhat said that apart from papaya, goat milk is considered an easy and effective remedy to increase the number of platelets. Because goat milk contains selenium which is known to increase the blood platelet count in the body. Goat milk is rich in many types of nutrients, it contains calcium, vitamin B, phosphorus and potassium. Also, its milk is also rich in iron and copper, which helps in improving the metabolism rate of the body. Drinking a glass of goat milk in the morning and evening is very beneficial in case of low platelet count. Along with this, medicine should also be taken while continuing the treatment of dengue as per medical advice.
