Eating soaked chickpeas improves the digestive system. The enzymes and fiber present in the water help in digestion. It removes problems like constipation, it is considered a natural remedy to clean the stomach and strengthen the digestive system.

Helpful in weight loss:

Raw gram contains high amount of fiber and carbohydrates, which takes time for the body to digest. If you drink excessive amount of soaked gram water, it can cause gas and indigestion in the stomach.

Oxalates are found in chickpeas, which in high amounts can combine with calcium in the body and increase the risk of kidney stones. Therefore, if you have kidney problems, then consult a doctor before consuming soaked chickpea water. Soaking chickpeas in water for a long time can dissolve some nutrients in water, which can reduce their properties. Therefore, chickpeas should be soaked for the right time, so that the amount of nutrients remains intact.

Possibility of allergies:

Some people may be allergic to chickpeas. If you are allergic to chickpeas, you should avoid drinking the water of soaked chickpeas, as it can cause skin rashes, swelling or other allergic reactions.

How to use it correctly
Soak raw chickpeas in water overnight and drink the water after filtering it in the morning. If you want, you can also add a little salt or lemon to it, which will enhance its taste. Keep in mind that do not soak the chickpeas for too long, as this can reduce their nutrients. Drinking a glass of chickpea water daily will provide enough energy to the body and the digestive system will also be better.
