When bones start to weaken, they will start to crack. Doctors call this condition osteoporosis. In this, bones become painful and breakable. Therefore, we should eat less salt. It is very important to keep bones healthy. There can be many other causes of osteoporosis such as calcium and vitamin D deficiency, hormonal disturbances, increasing age, physical inactivity and excessive salt intake.

How can osteoporosis be prevented?

Get vitamin D from sunlight. Sit in the sun for at least 15-20 minutes every day.
Do exercise and yoga. Weight-bearing exercises help prevent osteoporosis.
Don’t smoke. Smoking weakens the bones.
Get treatment for low testosterone. Low testosterone can lead to osteoporosis.
