The central government runs the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. If you are also a eligible farmer, then you can get financial benefits by joining this scheme in which you get 6 thousand rupees annually. This amount is given in three installments of Rs 2,000. By now, after the release of 19 installments, it is now the turn of the 20th installment, but before that the farmers must know that you can be a victim of fraud due to your small mistake or error. The fraudsters are adopting many ways to cheat farmers, so here you can know what you should take care of so that you can avoid fraud. Farmers can learn about this in the next slides …
If you are the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana, then stay away from fraud in the name of e-KYC, because the fraudsters are resorting to cheating farmers. In this, you may get a call for online e-KYC. Also, you may be afraid that if you have not yet e-KYC from us, then your installment may be stuck and your application may be canceled. In such a situation, first of all you do not need to be afraid nor should you share any confidential information on any such call like bank account details or plan registration number, OTP etc. Know that there are only three ways to get e-KYC done which have been officially told by the department.
The first way is that you can get an e-KYC by visiting your nearest CSC center, where biometric-based e-KY is done. The second way is that you can do OTP based e-KYC yourself from the official portal PMKISAN.Gov.in, the official portal of the scheme. Three methods are the name of PM Kisan Yojana app, from where the names of your face can be done through your face. But there can also be fraud. The people also pretend to update the mobile number to cheat the farmers. In this, you are asked to update the mobile number immediately, otherwise you will not be able to get information related to the scheme or installment. But you do not need to believe in any such call, email or message. You can also update the mobile number yourself, for this, go to the Kisan app or go to the official website of the scheme PMKISAN.GOV.IN and you can do this by clicking on ‘Update Mobile Number’ there.
