Changes in the price of LPG cylinder
On the first date of every month, LPG gas companies review the prices of domestic and commercial cylinders. In such a situation, the prices of cylinders may change on 1 July. It will affect every house where the cylinder is used.
Aadhaar compulsory for PAN card
Now if you want to make a new PAN card, then from 1 July 2025 you will have to have an Aadhaar card. A new pan will not be built without base. Also, if someone’s PAN card is not yet linked to Aadhaar, then it will have to be linked by 31 December 2025. The government has found that some people are making PAN cards under fake name to avoid tax. This step has been taken to prevent such cases.
New railway ticket rules will be applicable
Railways have also changed ticket booking and fares from July 1. Now there has been a slight increase in the price of both AC and non -AC tickets. Non -AC class fares have been increased by 1 paise per kilometer and AC class fares by 2 paise per kilometer. Along with this, a big change is that now the number of waiting tickets in the train has also been banned. Not more than 25 percent of the total number of seats in each class will be issued. That is, if a coach has 100 seats, then only 25 waiting tickets will be available. However, women and disabled travelers are exempted.
Aadhaar Link and OTP required for Tatkal ticket booking from IRCTC
From July 1, Tatkal tickets will be available only to those passengers whose IRCTC account is linked to Aadhaar. Also, while booking tickets from July 15, it will be necessary to enter OTP on the mobile number linked to Aadhaar. The ticket will not be booked if OTP is not filled. At the same time, the railway agents will not be able to book tickets till 30 minutes before the immediate booking starts.
Banks will be closed 13 days in July
There will be 13 bank holidays across the country in July 2025. These include local festivals holidays in different states along with Saturday and Sunday of the week. If you have any necessary work related to the bank, then plan in advance. Transactions will continue through digital banking, ATM and mobile apps, but services like check clearance, RTGS and NEFT may be delayed.
Cash withdrawn from ICICI Bank ATM will be expensive
Be careful if you withdraw money from ICICI Bank ATM. From July 1, if you withdraw cash more often than the fixed limit, then you will have to pay 23 rupees on every additional transaction. However, withdrawals will be free in non-Metro cities 5 times and 3 times in metro cities. After this, every withdrawal will be charged.
Payment from HDFC Credit Card is expensive
Since July, new charges have also been implemented for HDFC Credit Card users. If you pay with a credit card through a third party app like Paytm or PhonePe, now an additional charge of 1 percent will be charged. Also, the utility bill like electricity or water bill (if paid with HDFC credit card) will be charged separately.
